The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Thank you Judyann. This was a one-time art installation in February/March of 2005. It was only up for about 4 weeks, and after that it was dismantled and recycled. They were all through the park and a wonderful experience to walk under.
